Join Jeff and co-host Bob Clay — renowned steelhead guide, conservation advocate and bamboo rodmaker — at Steelhead Valhalla Lodge on the wild and remote Sustut River to pursue BIG steelhead with bamboo rods. • • • Think of it as a conclave focused on but not exclusive to the use of modern double-hand cane rods for pursuing trophy steelhead. Bob will have a quiver of his handcrafted Riverwatch rods and discussions about lines, flies, reels, casting and presentation, as well as fighting and landing techniques will abound. • • • This early-season week is a dry-liners dream. Imagine big steelhead on or near the surface — Sustut steelhead average 14-16 pounds! • • • If you enjoy bamboo in your angling, or if you're just interested in the notion, you won't want to miss this one. Either way, you're invited to be part of this very special gathering on a very special river.
