Few rivers in the U.S. appeal as strongly to steelhead flyfishers as central Oregon’s Deschutes. Its spectacular high desert setting, endless chain of runs and riffles and its free-rising fish make for a unique and highly memorable experience. A great destination for light spey rods and switch rods, greased line presentations and classic flies. • • • In the care of Deschutes River Outfitters we’ll float from Madras to Maupin over the course of four days. This means new water each day and a new camp each night. Well schooled in the ways of the big river and its fish, these guys do it right!
